What Kanye & I have in common
is a summer internship at Gap Inc. Headquarters.

What has Gap given me thus far?
An experience.
I think Yeezy would agree, “nothing worth knowing can be taught.” In my last four weeks here, Gap has given me the opportunity to learn about the company–inside & out, immerse myself within the retail industry, and build my career in ways the stores can’t. And that’s only the tip of iceberg.
Sadly enough, today marked my first day of my last week.
No more bayside luncheons. But then again, no more one-hour commutes at 6:30 am. No more after-hour adventures in the city. But then again, no more 40-hour work weeks.
And though I’m leaving Friday, I’m not coming home empty handed.
My biggest takeaway is that passion goes a long way. If 30 seconds is all you have, you’ll be remembered by your passion; not your college degree. So with a pocket full of passion & a handful of skill, anyone can make their way to the top. “ ‘Fore the day you die, you gonna touch the sky.”
