Must be nice

to live in Paradise.

Kaua’i reinvigorated my interest for the islands’ culture, the music, the lifestyle, ”da kine.”  Maybe even life in general.

Some things you can’t blog.  I can list all the dang things I did, but it would have no value to you or me.  Even if I listed it, your attention span would run out before I was finished.  Sure, it might be cool to hear, but it can’t capture the feelings that only experiences deliver.

Actions speak louder than words.  Pictures are closer to actions than words.  Which is why I plan to picto-blog my 8 days on the Garden Isle.   Keyword: plan.

So what’s life like after you spend a week in Paradise?
Different, a good different. I’m still bumpin the same killer tunes I did throughout my vacation. Mainly Katchafire and Rebel Souljahz. I’ve also brought home a new blueprint for my ”seize the day” mindset towards daily living.

Putting it into perspective.  You have 7 days to experience Hawaii.  You have endless options and beaches everywhere.  Are you going to let the day pass you by or are you going to metticulously plan out your day to ensure your time’s well spent?

Bringing it back to reality. Coming home, I see days as opportunities—more so than before. Why leave a day on vacation completely unrivaled by any other day out of the year?

Yeah, I don’t have the celestial beauty of Kaua’i. But, there’s great culture, music, and lifestyles here too, which is only a small patch of real estate in the greater land of opportunities here. If you look a little closer, we have our own variations of “da kine” here.  Which is why I plan to seize my days more actively.  Reminder: plan.
